Vantage

Support

Vantage is made by one person. If something's wrong or confusing, tell me — it genuinely helps.

Get in touch

To help me sort it out quickly, mention your device (for example iPhone 14), your iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened.

It's a small operation, so a reply might take a day or two — but every message gets read.

You can also send feedback from inside the app: Settings → Send feedback opens a pre-filled email. During the beta, the most useful thing you can report is anything Vantage got wrong when reading a task you spoke or typed.

Quick answers

I completed a task by mistake — how do I get it back?

At the bottom of your task list, under Completed today, press and hold the task to restore it. For something finished on an earlier day, open Review → Looking back and press and hold it there.

Where is my data, and is it backed up?

Everything stays on your device — Vantage has no account and no servers. It also keeps automatic backups: to your iCloud Drive when that's enabled, otherwise on the device itself. Settings has a Back up now button and a Restore option if you ever need them.

How do the trial and the price work?

Vantage is free for 14 days. You can extend the trial twice by sending a bit of feedback along the way. After that, a single purchase unlocks it for good — there is no subscription.

Voice capture isn't working.

Vantage needs Microphone and Speech Recognition permission — check Settings → Vantage on your device. If a word gets misheard, the confirmation screen lets you fix any field before the task is saved.

How do I add a task with Siri?

Say "Hey Siri, add a task in Vantage." Siri asks what the task is, then whether you'd like to add another, and loops until you're done.
